Atmel AT76C503A based wireless usb driver for linux

This page has resources relating to my efforts to get my Netgear MA101 working under linux. Its an Atmel AT76C503A based wireless usb device, like a lot of other devices (by dlink, smc, gemtek etc etc).

The homepage for the GPL'ed driver is here. A list of devices which appear to contain this chip can be found here. Have a look to see if your device is listed in the linux usb device database here. If its not, once you've tried getting it to work be sure to add details of your device/experience to this database.

A good resource for getting these usb devices working under linux is here, and especially the mailing list here.

There's two drivers available at the moment. The 'old' one and the new GPLed one.
Due to some recent patches that have been submitted the GPLed, I find driver is now better than the binary one.

I have written some instructions for getting a Netgear MA101 working with the

Even if you have some other AT76C503A based device these instructions should still be useful. Post feedback to the mailing list
